We’ll contract with the cruise line for cabins, exclusive events, and meeting space and we’ll share the instructions for booking your cabin when we have the rates. If you’d like to bring family and friends, you can. Simply let them know you’ll be involved in intensive work for 3 days while they play and ask us for pricing for the additional people.

Note: If you haven’t cruised before day 1 is embarkation day, which can be a bit of a zoo (plan on arriving at the embarkation port the night before in case you have a flight delay because the ship won’t wait for you.) We’ll also do what we can to get the group on early so you can get your bearings and relax. We’ll meet for drinks before dinner so you can meet the others. The last day is an early morning – up and out to prepare the ship for the next passengers.

On a 4-night cruise here’s what your schedule could look like

Day 1 – Check out of your hotel, get to the port for our embarkation time, go through security and get your paperwork done, board the ship, have lunch, wait for your cabin to be ready while sitting on the pool deck, touring the ship, hitting the gym or relaxing in one of the lounges. When you can go to your cabin, you’ll unpack, attend mandatory lifeboat drill and join us for a welcome cocktail party for our group, before enjoying dinner as you please, attending a show if you’d like and perhaps even go dancing.

Day 2 – Going to the gym? Best to do it before breakfast. Today is usually a cruising day. We’ll start at 9am today to give people a reprieve to acclimatize to the time zone. We’ll be working till about noon / 12:30 and then we’ll break for an hour which gives you time to have lunch and wander on the deck. We’ll reconvene until 5pm and tonight is yours to do as you please – have a massage, go for a swim, meet new friends or family for dinner and attend a show.

Day 3 – This day is usually a port day. We will meet for an early working breakfast and meeting then we’ll leave the ship to explore the destination for a few hours. We’ll let you know if we have a planned group activity (perhaps to meet an inspiring entrepreneur or to engage with the community). We’ll have a working dinner tonight.

Day 4 – Going to the gym? Best to do it before breakfast. This is usually a “cruising day”. We’ll start at 8am today. We’ll have a working lunch so that we can finish with enough daylight left to sit outside and soak up the beauty of the ocean and the fun of a cruise ship. We’ll reconvene tonight for cocktails and dinner. Then the evening is yours (remember to pack and put your luggage out for the porters, if you aren’t walking off with your luggage).

Day 5 – You’ll be up early for breakfast and then you’ll leave your cabin to wait in the public space for your time to disembark (it’s much easier to keep your luggage and walk off at your leisure. Realize though that the longer you are onboard, the longer the line up is to get through immigration/customs. We like to be first off, if at all possible.)
